- Describe socially constructed normative expectations of Canada’s marginalized peoples, most notably Canada’s Indigenous and LGBTQ+ communities’
- Discuss experiences with accessing healthcare with the concepts of racism, lack of trust and lack of cultural competence in healthcare professionals.
- Expand upon individual strategies that MRTs can embed in their daily activity to help change systemic attitudes.
- Describe initiatives to bring imaging to these communities.
- Introduce Cancer Care Ontario's, Screen for Life program by exploring Anne's personal experiences as a Mammographer bringing cancer screening to the LGBTQ+ communities.
- Introduce Fujifilm's newest portable x-ray unit, the FDR X-Air as a means to bring diagnostic imaging technology to remote Indigenous communities in Northern Canada.
